Custom fields for chat

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source)
  • Operating system:
  • Browser + version:

Expected behavior:

I want to capture customer information like user name or email when user start chat. I want to make this as same like Zammad form, or at least one field(email) before start the chat, so our agent can contact with him after some time.

Actual behavior:

Customer can start chat without provided basis information

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Just start the chat

Zammad’s chat is an anonymous type of chat.
So what you want to do is not possible as of now.
