I know there’s a way to do this via the Rails Console. I am requesting that it be made a field that can be modified in the user config of the UI.
User IDs are database incremental IDs. Changing those IDs manually would potentially cause trouble in the database layer.

Ahh, I assumed userID was what the Login ID field was. I’d like to assign usernames to login with (firstName+lastNameInitial) rather than people using their email addresses.
