Title: Rich editing in knowledge base
- What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
I want the ability to have a “rich text” style editor in the knowledge base with support for things like tables.
- Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
I needed to write a KB article that includes tables. The only way I could achieve this was to do so in an external program and export the result as an image. This looks okay but is horrible from a maintenance perspective.
- Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
The KB editor is extremely limited with no support for things like tables.
- What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
I want to have a better editor in the Zammad knowledge base with support for things like tables.
Your Zammad environment:
- Average concurrent agent count: 2
- Average tickets a day: 10
- What roles/people are involved: agents
Anything else which you think is useful to understand your use case:
I have found Add Markdown support to all Zammad content and knowledge base improvements - Feature requests - Zammad - Community as a related feature request that already exists. However, they specifically request Markdown support. My request is more general and I would be happy with any kind of improvement to the editor.
