Unique field in Users

  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 20.4
  • Browser + version: Chrome Latest

Expected behavior:

  • Need a unique field in new user or edit user to set employee ID

Actual behavior:

  • I’m unable to create a unique field for employee ID as i don’t want any duplicate in users employee ID

I’m very new and I don’t have the technical knowledge or coding knowledge. I followed instructions on internet to get this ticketing tool up.

Please help me in creating a field in the Users attribute with no duplication. expecting the same behavior as email id.

Zammad does not support unique custom fields, this would be a feature request (here: Feature requests - Zammad - Community ).

Login and email address are unique, everything else can technically be duplicate (a part from IDs of course…)
