Ticket Usage for default user

  • Used Zammad version: 5.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: any
  • Operating system: any
  • Browser + version: any

Question:

  • How can default user use templates when creating new tickets?
    (even when the administration right administer templates is selcted in the role for the user templates cant be used when creating tickets)

So what i would like to do is to allow users the usage of templates I created as an administrator:

ticket templates are for agents, not for customers. I guess this is the problem you’re faced with right now.

Yes. But is there no way to allow the usage of templates for customers too ?

No. This is a mere agent functionality.

This is really sad and makes Zammad unusefull for our use case. With the objects it could be used for one use case only. Really sad as the tool seemed really good at first glance.
