Suddenly Cant config Email

To All,

Requesting for your kind assistance,
If there is I need to run a command or restart service to work again the Email.

  • Used Zammad version: 3.6
  • Used Zammad installation type:package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Browser + version: any

Expected behavior:

  • Can configure IMAP and SMTP (Gmail)

Suddenly show that error
Channel: Email::Notification out Can’t use Channel::Driver::Smtp: #<Net::SMTPFatalError:

Tried to remove the configured email and reconfigured the IMAP and SMTP
but cant continue the configuration because of the error below.

First of all before doing anything else:
Upgrade Zammad to 4.1 asap.

The error message technically means exactly what it’s saying:
Ensure you can reach Port 587 on said host without issues.

You can check with e.g. nmap on the host directly to ensure Zammad is not at fault.
Shouldn’t be that way but anyway.
