See the ticket status and title in the checklist

Your Zammad environment:

  • Average concurrent agent count: 70
  • Average tickets a day: 200
  • What roles/people are involved: many

It would be great if everyone could see the ticket status and title in the checklist, rather than the current “unauthorized” message that appears when you lack permission for the group the ticket is in.

If a user then tries to open the ticket from the checklist, the standard notification stating that they do not have viewing rights could still be displayed. The current display, however, is unfortunately confusing.

Addendum: The checklist is automatically populated via webhook when tickets are split, but the current user does not always have permission to view the group where the ticket is located.

The title and status itself is already a data leak.

Thanks for the feedback. However, if I grant a user role the “Overview” permission for a group—which allows the user to see titles and statuses within overviews but not the actual content—then surely that same logic could be applied to the checklist as well, couldn’t it?

Overview permission will also need read permission, maybe in some older versions this is not the case, but this is the future.
