PNG Logo in E-Mail Signature

Please excuse my english skills. I am a native german speaker... :)

Hello everyone,

I am familiar with this thread and I tried the given steps but it seems to not work on my end. I tried using Chrome, Edge und Firefox. Everytime it gets pasted as jpg or doenst insert at all, if I try to drag&drop the logo png file.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

  • Used Zammad version: 6.2.0-1710845114.31c6f6c2.jammy
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.02
  • Browser + version: Newest Chrome/Edge/Firefox

Expected behavior:

  • Paste png logo into e-mail signature field

Actual behavior:

  • It gets pasted as jpg without transparent background OR doesn’t insert at all, if I try to drag&drop the logo png file

You’re a windows user, aren’t you?
Copy and paste does not copy the content of an image on Windows.

Open it in your favorite image manipulation tool, mark the image and copy that. Then try to paste it into the place you want it to be.

I don’t think he is on windows, he wrote :

  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.02"

Operating System is relevant for the Zammad installation and does not cover the Client. OP mentioned the following browsers (which is client based):

  • Browser + version: Newest Chrome/Edge/Firefox

Edge is a windows browser.

oups, sorry ! I read too fast. I had the same problem with the logo in signature before, but it’s back to normal. I don’t know whether or not if our service provider has migrated from one installation to another…
