Format text as code

I am resurrecting an old request that got closed for inactivity. I’m also copy pasting a lot of the request, since I could sign it myself, but it’s locked, so…

We use code examples in our tickets and in the KB.

The code (html, JS, shellscript, CSS, sql) gets broken in some cases due to line breaks or to quote marks.

I know that there are some text format shortcuts.

¿Maybe you can add one to format code blocks?

As a workaround, though cumbersome, we use any online html editor and format the text as code and paste it from there into the knowledge base.
