Can't authenticate IMAP using OAUTH2

  • Used Zammad installation source: deb package
  • Operating system: Debian 9
  • Browser + version: Any

Expected behavior:

  • Fetch all e-mails from Gsuite e-mail account using OAUTH2

Actual behavior:

  • Can’t authenticate IMAP using OAUTH2

Hi, I’m trying to configure Zammad to authenticate against my corporate Gsuite e-mail account, which necessarily uses IMAP with OAUTH2. Is it already posible or is there any workaround? I’ve read a topic from March 2018 that mentions a similar problem Gsuite -> Gmail: IMAP problem - Zammad is not allowed to access the IMAP (unsecure app setting)

Zammad currently can’t provide this kind of authentication.
You’ll need to enable “allow less secure apps” for now. Sorry about that.
