Zammand and Microsoft 365

  • Used Zammad version: 6.2.0-81 (also tested with 6.2.0-80 and 6.2.0-75)
  • Used Zammad installation type: docker-compose
  • Browser + version: Firefox 124 and Edge122

We are using Zammad with Microsoft 365 channels. Since today morning, we have an issue with the connection between Zammad and M365 : Zammad could not check the mailboxes. I checked the configurations and nothing seems wrong. So, i deleted all accounts and i tried to configure those accounts again. But every time i try to to add an account, i log on M365 and then, the M365 authentication page freeze for 8 seconds and i’m redirected to the callback URL and Zammad says: “500: Something went wrong”.

I checked the Entra authorizations of the Application and nothing seems wrong. I checked that i used the value of the secret and not its id.

Can you help me?
Thanks

Hi @jo-ni. What is logged in Zammad’s production.log?

Hi,

/opt/zammad/logs/production.log contains only two lines:

  • I, [2024-03-22T09:15:36.037535#4235-6780] INFO – : Using Zammad’s file store as Rails cache store.
  • I, [2024-03-22T09:15:36.037839#4235-6780] INFO – : Using the File back end for Zammad’s web socket session store.

No more line…

It works again. I could configure all our M365 accounts !?!
I don’t know what happened.

Thank you.
