Zammad version still stay in bullseye after upgrade Debian to 12 from 11

  • Used Zammad version: 6.3.1-1727436232.f6b780c1.bullseye
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
  • Browser + version: Chrome 129.0.6668.70

Expected behavior:

  • The version should be “This is Zammad version 6.3.1-1727436232.f6b780c1.Bookworm”

Actual behavior:

  • It is still showing “This is Zammad version 6.3.1-1727436232.f6b780c1.bullseye”

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Also, I already run apt-mark unhold zammad

It said it was unhold already.

Run apt update again, the result is the same, nth changed.

I think you’re telling only parts of the story.
What happened before? Did you upgrade the distribution? And if so, which steps did you take…?

apt update
apt list --upgradable
apt upgrade

Are your best friends in terms of installing package updates. Apart from apt-mark (hold|unhold) zammad that is.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I managed to solve it now.

I recovered my last vm backup and re do again. I found that, I missed to use apt-mark hold zammad first before upgrade everything.

Everything is alright now.
