Zammad upgrade path

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …): Package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Browser + version: Chrome

Hello,

I’m looking to upgrade Zammad from 5.2.3 to 6.1. Documentation mentions the upgrade path should be from major to major versions. With that said, what would be the best upgrade path to 6.1?

Would the best upgrade path be 5.2.3 > 6.0 > 6.1? Or would I need to go to the next minor release first so 5.2.3 > 5.3 > 6.0 > 6.1?

This would be the way. Correct. Except we’re on 6.2 by now.
I’d like to also suggest to try to upgrade on a more regular basis.
