I was wondering is okay with the package provider, i saw another topic nearly identical to mine and it turned out to be an internal error for the provider.

Thanks in advance for any help
Robert

This is not a Zammad issue, but an issue with the package repository hosted by Packager. Just wait and retry in an hour or so.

Will do, (i have already waited 2 hrs before posting)

I’ll report back with complete.

I’m having a similar issue installing from scratch on Debian 11 or 12.
So it’s supposedly a temporary issue?

I’m trying to install it since early morning (so many hours now). Will try again tomorrow.

Using Debian 11.5 or 12.2 and installing Zammad 6.1

As mentioned in Error 500 from dl.packager.io · Issue #4912 · zammad/zammad · GitHub I notified packager.io roughly two hours ago. Please be patient and try again later. Surely the issue is solved by tomorrow.

Well, there goes the planned maintenance window that I had to schedule with the organization and get approval from stakeholders.

While i understand technical issues arise, I never had that happen with an enterprise solution of which I will not mention its name, but it begins with J.

Will keep trying.

Thanks
Robert

@RSmith if you have a support contract kindly PM your your contract ID.

I don’t have one, but I think I need one. :+1:
Will reach out in the AM.

But just to be sure, do folks with support contracts get access to different package providers?

Not going to force anyone onto it. I was just wondering.

Possibly a hot workaround is getting the required package directly which seems to work.

Currently build #9699 is the last “good” build, click on your distribution and then on “downlaod” on the right. That gives you the package in question. Hope that helps at least some.

Hot fix is confirmed, just doing some post-processing now and will confirm shortly, many thanks.

back in business from version 5.x to 6.1. Support to be commended and better than a certain company being with J.

Sitll working through style sheets etc… that is a minor detail so on the whole looking good.

Thank you very much indeed.

I currently cannot reproduce that. Can you please ensure to run apt update && apt install zammad and see if that helps for Debian and Ubuntu based systems?

Had the same issue 3 hours ago (500 Internal Server Error [IP: 178.63.71.248 443]) but it looks fine now, just completed upgrade on Debian Bookworm:

Has anyone else’s instances broke since the update. I updated based on the documentation and now I am just getting 502 nginx errors, zammad processes are consuming every ounce of my instance and nothing is working.

Getting this error everywhere.

Unable to load the EventMachine C extension; To use the pure-ruby reactor, require 'em/pure_ruby'

zammad-websocket-1.service[51889]: bundler: failed to load command: script/websocket-server.rb (script/websocket-server.rb)

Please don’t hijack this thread with your other unrelated issues, thanky ou.

Apologies. I believe I have one open if you can find it thanks.

FYI: The Debian Packager repository and package is available again (I didn’t test Ubuntu).

Packages for zammad/zammad - the latest package was build.
