Zammad tabs reappear every time

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.5.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Debian 12
  • Browser + version: Firefox 141.0.3, Edge, Chrome 139.0

Expected behavior:

  • After Closing tabs, they will not reappear at the side bar

Actual behavior:

  • Despite closing the tabs, they reappear after browser-refresh and after relogging in again and there are more and more and more

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Closing Tabs, refresh of the browser → Tabs reappear

Additional info: We moved our zammad VM from one Hyper-V Host to another one and had to give it a new IP adress due to a complete new networking subnet. I think this behaviour exists since this action was taken…
Any idea what it could be?

Are there error logs in your browser’s console when you close a tab?

Yes, there are errors like this one:

DELETE https://service.netfox.de/api/v1/taskbar/156 net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

What does it mean or: how can I fix it?

There should be a corresponding error message in your production.log

Then the problem should be gone :smiling_face:

Sorry, but I cannot find any error. There are only “info”-messages in the production.log

…Closing all open tabs only helps for the moment. Yes, all tabs are gone, but the problem comes again, after opening new tabs :frowning:

Make sure you’re not opening Zammad via a Bookmark that directs you to a ticket.

You could check in the database if the taskbar entry was really deleted after closing a tab inside Zammad.
