ZAMMAD ON UBUNTU - SSL PROBLEM AND PORT CHANGE

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 7.2.2-1793007177.a1888ac.ubuntu26
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: IE , CHROME

Expected behavior:

Actual behavior:

  • When i set on ngix port 9999 i must on settings set domain name :helpdesk.domain.pl:9999

  • on http works fine

  • when i enable hhtps i recive error from ssl because fqdn is set :9999 (its not configured adres in settings)

  • when i remove in domain name :9999 ssl error gone but not work system

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • probbable schould be in system option make additional parameter to set seperatly port or explain in documentation FAQ how to change default port for zammad

  • of course i upload my ssl certificate in zammad.

The port is part of the FQDN setting as of now, if you need a different port for whatever reason. If you use high ports within the FQDN, you have to adjust the notification sender address to not use the fqdn setting.

Adding the ssl certificates of your Zammad FQDN is not required at all.

The ssl configuration belongs to your reverse proxy.
