Zammad last update requires mysql and postgresql 14

When trying to upgrade my zammad server I get now mysql-server and postgresql-14 as dependencie.

  • Used Zammad version: 6.4.0-1731962306.9b0ae01a.jammy
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubunut 24.04 LTS
  • Browser + version: N/A

Expected behavior:

  • Zammad pacakge should not try installing postgresql14 and mysql-server

Actual behavior:

  • Zammad installs postgesql14 and mysql-server as dependencies.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Upgrade zammad to version 6.4.0

These two things don’t fit together. Ubuntu 24 has code name noble.
Is your Zammad really running on Ubuntu 24? If so, your repo sources are invalid.

I just installed a Zammad on Ubuntu 24 without any issues. It only installed postgresql and does not enforce MariaDB.
