I tried to install zamadd on my server running almalinux, but I ran into a problem.
I did the installation from a whm ssh terminal because the server is a VPS server that also runs cpanel.
I followed the almalinux installation guide on techviewleo.
I’m stuck at the “Configure the Virtual host for Zammad” section.
The apache webserver is running, but even if I enter the host, it won’t load the zammad.
It’s not recommended to run Zammad on semi-managed systems like with cPanel or others.
The reasonf or this is that cPanel and co usually want much more control than you’d want to give it for the specific vhost file of Zammad.
Also Almalinux might work, but officially has no support for package. It might work, but might not in the future.
Especially the vHost part is your individual problem due to cPanel and co.
