Zammad Docker-Compose With an external MySQL instance

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: (source, package, docker-compose, …) docker-compose
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version:

Expected behavior:

  • zammad docker-compose with external MySQL database instance

Actual behavior:

  • docker-compose up considers creating a Postgresql container instead

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

The docker-compose version of Zammad has no MySQL support.
And honestly, just don’t bother using Zammad with MySQL and use postgresql instead.

MySQL comes with serious degrations in terms of what you can do with Zammad and thus -in my opinion- is no option.
