zammad.conf and system domain

Used Zammad version: Version 6.5.0-1750055263.dd6ae287.noble
Used Zammad installation type: package
Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Browser + version: Firefox 139.0.4 (64-Bit)

I want to change the fully qualified domain name in Zammad from domain.com to www.domain.com.

It should then point to www for the entire system.

It is about system in the logged in area under system → basic

There is nothing described about this in the documentation. Url: Base — Zammad Admin Documentation documentation

Please use the template. Based on your questions, I honestly am wondering if you should selfhost at all.

The text you removed when creating this post…?

It’s a shame that you can’t even help me and basically dismiss me as ignorant. I’m a computer scientist, but I’m not a Zammad user, so I don’t know much about it. However, I am familiar with Nginx and have already set up a few projects with Nextcloud, etc. It was a normal question; it could be configured differently…

Mate, this is not a business grade support forum. Lower your expectations, will you?

How hard can it be to re-configure the server_name directive from nginx and the system FQDN within Zammad? You even already pasted the fitting documentation part, too.

So maybe I’m just ignorant and all flying around the moon here, or I’m simply not understanding the problem you have. You’re not even letting us know where exactly you stumble on issues. I mean, do we really have to pull everything out of your nose so you don’t blame it on others…?

It’s been resolved, I fixed it with Nginx zammad.conf.

Best regards
