Visibility of ticket objects and their automatic value

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 3.3

I have defined an object “test” with this roles

If create an customer a new ticket, the object test isn’t show. This ist correctly.

But the object has a standard value “xyz”. This standard value is not set, if an customer create a new ticket.

If an agent create a new ticket, the standard value “xyz” is set.

Even if the customer does not see the field, it must be set with the standard value! Is this a bug?

What can I do, so that the field is filled with my standard value, when a customer creates the ticket?

This sounds like a simple job for a trigger if you always want to fill in the same value when a customer opens a ticket.

Beside of the trigger approach, from technical point of view, it’s a bug:
