User Experience and User interface research & improvements help needed!

Hello, Zammad Community!
I’m Ivan, UX/UI designer for Zammad for about a year now.

We’re looking for Zammad users willing to participate in some UX/UI researches, usability testing, interviews, surveys and similar ways to get your feedback on some future features and your painpoints with current ones and how we could fix/improve user experience for all Zammad users!

Feel free to reach out to me here through personal message if you’re interested!
Thanks in advance!

HI @mtancoff , thanks for kind words, it’s a team effort where all add their bit, community as well. Great suggestion about the adjustable sidebar width(s), all of them will be adjustable when the new UI is released, we probably wont be able to pick it up sooner for the current one.

Huge thanks for your time and effort and kudos to @aliaksei @skip @7qubit @dvanzuijlekom @support.desk @7qubit @DD4PK for quickly jumping in to help reviewing something that was burning urgent for us to get feeback on. We’ll wrap up this round of that focused research for now, but thanks for still replying to this post through messages and offering to help UX research/improvements of Zammad in general. Keep them coming, the whole community benefits from this, thank you very much!

I would like to be able to install zammad as a PWA. If I force my browser to treat zammad as a mobile device, then the browsers give me the ability to install zammad as a PWA. But the browsers desktop version does not.
One reason that I would like to be able to click the PWA install from the URL is that there is an option to have all the links redirect to the PWA, which would mean that I could click on an email of a ticket, and it would open in the PWA instead of opening a new browser tab.

Hi @Seekinsj, thanks for reaching out, please create this as a post in a Feature requests category where it can be reviewed and voted for by others in the community.
Zammad PWA link registering and push notifications that team has been experimenting with on hackathons, but not fully fleshed out. Let’s see if there’s enough demand to push this through.
