Use OpenSearch with Helm Deployment

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.0.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: helm
  • Operating system: K8S 1.22

Hi guys, maybe I don’t see it but is there a way to use OpenSearch instead of Elastic Search with the helm chart deployment?
According to the official docs there is a build with oss support (zammad-oss) to make it work with OpenSearch. However I am unable to configure it with helm.

Any advice how to proceed would be really appreciated.
I am asking this because the bundled Elastic Chart is not able to set volume permissions on my cluster, so the only option would be to use the service offering of my cloud provider.

Our helm chart does not come with OSS support.
You’d have to fiddle your way around it and adjust the config files accordingly.
