Infos:
Used Zammad version: 3.3.x
Used Zammad installation source: package
Operating system: Debian 10
Browser + version: Firefox 75.0 64-bit
Expected behavior:
Messages from Twitter get add as Ticket.
Actual behavior:
If you don’t follow someone the message of this account goes into a message request section at messages and don’t show up as ticket.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Get two account don’t follow each other and try DMing the helpdesk account.
I hope may someone can help how to solve that.
Personally I don’t see this as a bug or technical issue, but more of a feature request.
The function seems to be mandatory for twitter accounts as their FAQ states nothing on how to disable this feature:
Possibly this is disabled or not available on Business-Accounts - but I’m not sure.
Interestingly: There doesn’t seem to be an API endpoint to control this:
https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/direct-messages/sending-and-receiving/api-reference
At least it’s not documented.
How I see this is currently, even if we wanted, we couldn’t do anything about it.
