Tickets are reopening after migration

Hello all,
We just moved our Zammad to a new platform. After activating it, all of a sudden a lot of old tickets are being re-created or re-opened and emails are being sent to our customers. Do you have any idea how I can investigate the problem and get it under control?

Is it because the emails are not getting deleted after pulled into Zammad?

From where did you migrate and what Zammad version did you use?
Iā€™m afraid my crystal ball currently is in service.
