Ticket triage option?

It would be useful to have an easy way to designate a person for each group to act as triage agent, examining each incoming ticket and assigning it to the most appropriate person.

I assume this can be done with a Trigger – On Action is created, Group is [whatever], Execute assign to specific person – but it would be less setup work to have it as an optional group feature, perhaps with a duration for which people should be allowed to grab the ticket before it gets automatically sent for triage.

Anyone else want this?

We are cleaning up our community and found your request.

To solve your problem you could let all tickets come into one group. The triage user would then know that all tickets in that specific group need to be assigned. You could also give him the sole rights to see the tickets and/or the group. From there he can assign them accordingly.
