The firstname and lastname mandatory for user

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.5
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version:

Expected behavior:

  • Users should login and manage the tickets those who does not have firstname and lastname in their account.

Actual behavior:

  • Users could not be login zammad facing errors while login, due to they don`t have firstname and lastname in their account details.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • The user can have or have not either firstname, lastname, in the case they can login the helpdesk application.

I’ve solved this problem by creating a core workflow for the user object, that sets the first name as optional.

What do you mean the user can not login? Normally missing first -and lastname should not block the login functionality..
