Expected behavior:
System does not change existing Customer’s Last name and First if Customer writes to Telegram again.
Actual behavior:
System changes existing Customer’s Last name and First. They are taken from Customer telegram.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Customer writes to telegram bot at first time.
System creates new Customer. Customer First name and Last named are taken from Customer telegram. System links account telegram to the new Customer.
Agent sets new Customer’s First name, Last name, Organization, Email.
Customer writes again.
System changes Customer’s Last name and First like in 2nd step.
It does not create new Customer. And it is no matter if Customer has email or Organization.
Hello, team!
Can you please help to fix or make some workaround with it?
Hi @sergio. Sorry, but I’m not that familiar with the built-in Telegram feature, I have no idea currently. Maybe I can spend some time in the next few days to be able to shed some light here.
Currently, the delivered user data is used to create/update the existing user data. This works by design at the moment. If you have the feeling, that this is a bug, please create an appropriate issue here. Thanks a lot
