Stickey Notes for key information

Related but closed: Sticky note on top of ticket

Hi,

We generate quote long tickets that may be worked on for several days or weeks. It would be useful to be able to extract key information from a ticket chain and add them to a tab at the side for quick reference. In our case IP ranges and systems. This could be at the side under the Ticket, Customer, Organisation tabs for quick and easy reference.

We often receive feature requests… through all different channels. We’d like to have them all here in one place. So everyone, who is interested can participate.
Also we think about to introduce a community voting for features. We tried it at GitHub, which resulted in muddled pile of tickets.

So some rules:

Features need to be usable / useful for everyone. No I need special Feature X for my specific use case.
Feature requests need a detailed description. Maybe some mockup screenshots, if something is UI related.
If you need a connection to another service, please provide the API URL / Documentation URL for this service.
Bad:
I need a JIRA integration. Please make this happen.

Good:
Hi,

I would like to see a JIRA integration to achieve the following:

Link ticket from Zammad to JIRA
Sync states between them
See current state of the linked JIRA ticket in Zammad and vice versa
It should be possible to add notes to a linked JIRA Ticket (incl. attachments)
It should be possible to receive notes from a linked JIRA Ticket (incl. attachments)
Link to the documentation: JIRA 6.1 REST API documentation

This is just a small example. We will close any feature request which is just a “I need feature X or Y” without any detailed explanation.

Have fun.
Johannes
Feel free to modify this template.

i believe this feature should solve that; Permanent Marking • Features | Zammad (user doc’s; Ticket Settings — Zammad (for Agents) documentation)
But I’m not sure how it supposed to work, i can highlight information in a ticket, but i still have to scroll through the whole thread to find the highlighted information. i would expect it would create some kind of markers of the highlighted text’s, but i suppose i’m missing something or i don’t understand the feature.

Hi,

Yes, some way of pooling or aggregating highlighted, and usually, key information for a ticket into a quickly readable digest for quick and rapid reference.
