[solved] Recommendations on the equipment

Could you please comment.
Zammad version used: package 2.9

At the moment the system is installed zammad on one server
12 cpu
32 gb ram
Ubuntu 18.04
PG, elasticsearch.
Made Tmp on a ramdisk
100 agent
4000 customer
6000 tickets per month

The system is stable.

We plan a maximum
250 agent
40 000 customer
100 000 tickets per month

Additional server under elasticsearch node

We need product support from you for extra charge.
Can you give some recommendations on the equipment?
Also, please let me know whether had you the same a load?
If there were, tell me how many companies?

Please note that we can’t give you numbers or such internal information.
However, I can assure you, that we have customers with 3000 unique tickets per day (and 50 concurrent working agents) handling tickets with issues on the following setup:

Zammad only host

  • 6 CPU cores
  • 16GB Ram

postgresql-host

  • 4 CPU cores
  • 16GB Ram

elasticsearch-host

  • 4 CPU cores
  • 16GB Ram

Note that for 250 concurrent agents (and yes, “concurrent” is important in that care), my guess would be to go to 8 or even 10 cores for the Zammad host. This will need overall fiddling, so if you’re in a VM setup where you can assign more ressources if needed, that would be a safe way.

If you’re happy with the current systems performance, you could stick with that and see how it envolves.

As for commercial services like service contracts, you can find further information here:
