Signatures not showing on second reply

  • Used Zammad version: 6.5.1
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04
  • Browser + version: Chrome 140.0.7339.185 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

Expected behavior:

When replying to an answer that was already sent by me, the signature should be added to the end of the new message. For example, when you forget something in your first reply and want to add something, the signature should be added also to the second reply.

Actual behavior:

Only the first reply does include the signature. On the second reply, the signature is not added by Zammad

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Send Ticket
  2. Reply to Ticket (with automatic signature)
  3. Reply again to the above send Message

I think this behavoir is by desgin, but wanted to doubble check and also ask if there is some setting to get around this. Since we often interact with customers who have special workflows set at their end, they require to set the signature at the end of every email.

I think this is not by design. I could not reproduce the Problem.

Easilly reproducable when using full quotes. If your system signature is in the quote, Zammad will not add another signature to the article.

Sucks but has been like that for years.
