SAML Auth not mapping accounts

Hi there,
just activated saml auth via ADFS in our self hosted instance.
Authentication generally works but is there a chance for mapping exisiting local auth accounts to the new saml login accounts?
If I try to login with my account the log is telling me:

Validation failed: Email address 'XXX@XXX' is already used for another user. (Exceptions::UnprocessableEntity)

Should the mapping work automatically or is there a setting that has to be activated?

I found the solution myself, I simply overlooked a setting:
