Reminder notifications not working after update to 7.0.0

  • Used Zammad installation type: (source)
  • Operating system: Ubuntu
  • Browser + version: Chrome / Vivaldi / Brave / Firefox

Expected behavior:

Hello everyone,

after updating to version 7.0, the reminder function for follow-ups no longer seems to work for us. Set follow-up reminders are not being displayed as notification bubbles, even though they have been configured for the users.

Does this affect other Zammad users as well?

Could you please provide a step-by-step description what you’re doing, including the needed configuration? We could check it afterward.

Also, no emails are being sent for the reminder. However, sending emails in general does work.

My steps.
In a Ticket → set Status to wait for Reminder an then set the date. Save. That´sall.

What about the trigger configuration?

Does this feature need to be set up via a trigger? We have been using this for years without any trigger for it, i guess. What setting would need to be configured?

Ah, sorry, you mean the pending reminder notification is not sent anymore. Did you check that your background worker is running and functional?

Maybe you could also open the Rails Console and check the output of Scheduler.find_by(method: 'Ticket.process_pending').
