Zammad version 6.5.2-1759506878.5caba850.noble
Good afternoon everyone!
I’ll try to explain a situation. It might be easy to create a solution, or if you already have something similar, please share it with me, but I couldn’t find it here on the forum.
We currently have some scripts that work by checking certain information such as file size, location, and changes. These scripts, in turn, send us notifications about the status of tasks performed. So far, so good. We’ve created some email filters to check these logs received via email, analyzing the subject line. This allows us to segment each log. All good!
The point is that sometimes we have communication errors (internet or other failures) and we don’t receive the log because the action wasn’t performed. For example, a server down due to a power outage.
The question is: Is it possible to create an action within Zammad so that every day or predetermined days it generates an alert (ticket) if it doesn’t receive the expected log? With this ticket created, our team is aware of a failure and can address each case.
I’m not sure if I was clear, but if you have any questions about my report, please let me know.
Thank you!
