Question about migration instructions

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 6.0
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: 18.04 → 22.04
  • Browser + version: N/A

I’m following the steps in:
https://docs.zammad.org/en/latest/appendix/backup-and-restore/migrate-hosts.html

And step 2 is to install zammad on the new host. But the package install asks for configurations to be completed. Should I simply stop there, or does it even matter what I enter because it will be over-written by the restored backup?

Why would you configure the new installation on the host you’re migrating to?
The data you insert there is going to be lost during the restoration anyway.

I think I was mixing this up with a different APT package I had been dealing with  that during the apt install asked to configure SMTP and other things, so the install wouldn’t complete without some level of configuration being completed.
