Problems connecting with E-mail

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version:3.5
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …)
  • Operating system: Test version
  • Browser + version: Chrome newest

Expected behavior:

  • Connecting with the Mailbox

Actual behavior:

  • Not able to coonect to the mailbox
    You can see the error report in the screenshoot

Did you verify the combination of protocol and port you are using with a mail client? Port 993 is for secure Imap, not secure POP so the combination in the screenshot is probably not working because of that. I would recommend using IMAP with 993 but you have to ensure this is enabled on your mailserver and the credentials are correct. Easy to test with a mail client.
