Problems after migration from OTRS 6 CE to Zammad

Hello all,

I have done a migration from OTRS 6 CE to Zammad (current version). After the migration, where the “First Steps” should come, a login screen now appears, although I have not yet created an organization. For test purposes, I tried to log in with my OTRS account, which did not work either. Any suggestions for solutions or experience with this problem?

  • Used Zammad version: Current version
  • Used Zammad installation type: Package
  • Operating system: Debian 11.1
  • Browser + version: Chrome version 95.0.4638.69 and firefox 94.0.1

First steps are not shown if you’re running the migrator.
Unless the user account you have on OTRS is something special it should be working without issues.

However, what exactly the issue is is hard to tell without any error messages.
Your production.log (/var/log/zammad/) should be able to tell you where exactly the issues lives.
