PowerBi API connection

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.1x
  • Used Zammad installation type: Azure Marketplace
  • Browser + version: Edge

Expected behavior:

Trying to connect PowerBi (Pro) via API to Zammad following these steps (Amending for my token and URL) - “connect-zammad-api-directly-on-powerbi”

Actual behavior:

Get prompted to specify how to connect\authenticate. Which Option should be selected - is it WebAPI ?
*If so get an error after entering the key - “A web API key can only be specified when a web API key name is provided”

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

*Follow steps in topic “connect-zammad-api-directly-on-powerbi”
Create New Query as above.

Can anyone suggest which step i am missing?

Before doing anything else, please upgrade Zammad. You’re missing a lot of security fixes with this over a year old version. Current version is Zammad 6.3.

Note that this is not an official installation type offered by Zammad Core.

Thanks for the response - we have upgraded to Zammad version 6.3.1 but still get same challenge when trying to connect with Power Bi - if any has any additional details on connecting etc that would be grateful.
