Title: integrate paymenter as billing feature
- What is your original issue/pain point you want to solve?
As tickets are mostly service related, the missing link is a service management and billing tool. Paymenter has an integrated ticketing tool, where I would prefer to use Zammad integration into it. Looks like Paymenter solves the missing service management in Zammad. - Which are one or two concrete situations where this problem hurts the most?
When a customer adds a service/product, Zammad is used to open the order ticket, until the setup is complete and the customer can use the ordered service. Then a generated invoice is sent via Zammad from the accounting department. An integration of Paymenter would solve the missing gap for this action. - Why is it not solvable with the Zammad standard?
Because it’s missing - What is your expectation/what do you want to achieve?
- manage orders of customers (in tickets)
- use the integrated contact db as billing contact management
- use customer-ID to connect ordered services (hosting, mailserver, dns)
- use calendar for due billing notifications via ticketing
- use assignment to assign services to department (NOC, accounting, support)
- use paymenter integration for invoicing/billing and send invoices via Zammad ticketing
Your Zammad environment:
- Average concurrent agent count: 5
- Average tickets a day: 5
- What roles/people are involved: noc, accounting/admin, support
Anything else which you think is useful to understand your use case:
We already use Zammad to send invoices and reminders, by uploading the pdf as attachment.
Thanks for building Zammad ![]()
