Owner changing Spam emails

Expected behavior:

  • no input is put into the helpdesk so nothing to happen on the email side of things

Actual behavior:

  • no input is put into the helpdesk however a constant stream of emails is being sent to our emails saying the owner has changed on multiple tickets.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • this is none stop and constant so there is no input to cause this behaviour

Disable / change the trigger sending the notifications. Triggers — Zammad documentation

Smells like a combination of agent notifications (Profile & Settings — Zammad (for Agents) documentation) and assignment timeout ( Group Settings — Zammad documentation ).
