Organization selection field disappears shortly after the new ticket page loads

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: version 6.2.0-1703848222.b78c3a07.jammy
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04
  • Browser + version: Edge, Chrome, Opera

Expected behavior:

  • logged in as an agent, Tickets display the Organization selection field

Actual behavior:

  • logged in as an agent, Organization selection field disappears shortly after the new ticket page loads. There is no core workflow touching that field or taking it away. Upon opening the new ticket page:

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Open the new ticket page

Is there some permission somewhere that causes this? I’m sure I’m just forgetting something simple. This started happening after one of my LDAP syncs ran.

This appears to have in fact been due to an LDAP group mapping and not having a user in a configured group.

Yes, you are seeing the customer ticket creation form.

Normally, the organization field is only visible when the user is assigned to multiple organizations. When the form request is slow, it could be that the organization field is shortly visible (will be improved in the new desktop-view).
