Organization object custom fields viewable by customer

  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Debian 11
  • Browser + version: Chrome 107

Hi, i have a question about Organization object custom fields.

Question:

  • I want to add a custom field, that viewable by customer and editable by agents. Our customers have a monthly limit for opening tickets (hours limit). Customer must see how much hours available at this moment. When i add custom field in System → Objects customer can`t see this field. Is there any way to resolve this case with standard functional? Or this is a bug, and when ticket.customer view permission assigned all customers within organization must see this field (in my case they see only organization name).

You can define the default visibility (which allows writing (!) via the object manager.

You can use Zammads Core Workflows to adjust the behavior of objects. This includes setting a field read only.
