Office 365 SMTP


Used Zammad version: Zammad 3.3.x
Used Zammad installation source: package
Operating system: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS Server
Browser + version: Mozilla Firefox v76.0

Expected behavior:

  • Configure a second email account with Office 365 to assign in a new group.

Actual behavior:

Other issues similar recommend to change the mailbox to shared and back to user but it didn’t work.


Ensure that the account is allowed to communicate via SMTP and POP/IMAP.
If it is allowed to, ensure that it doesn’t enforce 2 factor authentication via xAuth or so, as this currently is not supported.
