Objects "Position" being ignored.

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 7.0.0-1773239210.113beb30.noble
  • Used Zammad installation type: source
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
  • Browser + version: Chrome 145.0.7632.160

Expected behavior:

When setting an object position to “1”, I expect it to appear before anything else.

Actual behavior:

The “TITLE” and “TEXT” fields always appear above all other fields.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Create a new object and set it’s position to appear above the default objects.

I think you found already the related feature request thread where it’s visible that this is currently not possible. Don’t know what you expect from creating this new thread here :slight_smile:

There did not appear to be an official reply to the feature request that was raised 18 months ago.

I’ve raised this as a bug, as there is clearly an intended order for objects to appear, and this is not working.
