No Grafana under "Integrations"

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.1.x
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Browser + version: Google Chrome Version 101.0.4951.54

Expected behavior:

*There is a “Grafana” Service under “Integration”

Actual behavior:

No entry for Grafana

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

As described in the title - no entry for Grafana Integration to be found.
Is self hosted version, upgrade from today, default settings.
Should it be activated somewhere? Or only available for hosted versions?

Hi Irina,

the grafana integration is based on the standard elasticsearch and/or postgress connectors from grafana.
Thus grafana will directly read those databases.
please see; Grafana — Zammad documentation for more details. It will work find on a self hosted install.

Kind regards,

Olaf

Hi @olafbuitelaar ,
I do understand how it should work, I’ve took part at one webinar “Reporting with Zammad” and want to implement it at my testsystem.
In this webinar, the integration with Grafana was directly available via Settings->Integrations->Grafana ( “button” between Icinga and LDAP) but in my system there is no “button” for it.
So the question is - should I activate something or is it a paid option or is it a bug?

That’s not true.
The webinar shows an SaaS system which comes with an integration page that’s called “Elasticsearch”. This is not relevant for selfhosted installations as, unlike for SaaS, you have the complete control of your Elasticsearch installation.

The documentation also states this very clearly
