New option to avoid tickets open created from old emails

Hi,

When a new email account is configured, the software automatically creates new entries from the IMAP data in the email account.

I would like to see a default option that will not create new open tickets for emails prior to the configuration of the new email account in Zammad.

It prevents messages from being sent by mistake to users who wrote in the email account before having the Zammad system, such matters have already been closed.

The options can be:

  • Create new open tickets for all emails.
  • Create closed tickets for emails before the configuration date in Zammad
  • Do not create new ticktes for emails before the configuration date in Zammad
