Multiple Zammad Services on Ubuntu

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 2.8
  • Used Zammad installation source: (source, package, …) deb
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
  • Browser + version: all

Expected behavior:

  • zammad-* services should only be install once

Actual behavior:

I have a litte question. Sometimes we have the problem that the Zammad Session don’t refresh itselfs, after changing an attribute (i.e. Change state from open to close). So i wanted to restart the zammad-worker service. After I typed in sudo service zamad- and use the autocomplete feature from Ubuntu I noticed that some service was “installed” twice.

For example. I have zammad-worker and zammad-worker-1 service. Is that correct? I think it should only exists zammad-worker?

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Login via SSH
  • type sudo service zammad- tab

I ran into the same problem. Any update on this?

This shouldn’t happen and no I have no solution.
I guess you should find information during update-installation that gives a hint.
