Move and Mark Emails After Import

I would like to request a feature for Zammad that allows administrators to define post-import actions for emails. Specifically:

•	After an email has been imported into Zammad, it should be possible to automatically move that email into a defined folder within the mailbox.
•	The email should optionally be marked as read once it has been imported.

This would make it much easier to distinguish which emails have already been processed by Zammad and which have not.

In addition, this feature would simplify the integration with email archiving solutions such as Mailstore. Many organizations are required to archive all mailboxes according to GoBD rules, including the ticket system mailbox. By moving imported emails to a dedicated folder, archiving and compliance workflows become far easier and more reliable.

Sounds more like a mta job. Would it be possible to have your mta forward all read mails to the archive folder and set zammad to not delete mails in the inbox?

What is the improvement of processing already imported mails by the ticket system and not by the mta?

Hi, what do you mean with mta?
I just requested this feature because I know it from a few other Ticket Systems.

Greetings from Germany

MTA means Mail Transmission Agent (so the Mail server)
