Microsoft365 e-mail sending failed, Logs generated ElasticSearch Error

Infos:

  • Used Zammad version: 5.2.3
  • Used Zammad installation type: package
  • Operating system: Centos7.6
  • Browser + version: Edge Version 107.0.1418.35 (Official build) (64-bit)

Expected behavior:

  • Set up Microsoft365’ account already, the user sent a e-mail to our account(support@ulinkcollege.com). after I reply to the new ticket, the user can receive the email

Actual behavior:

  • It does not work, the user can’t receive my e-mail. Check the error log and found that it is related to ElasticSearch, but I don’t know why.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Tried to “systemctl stop elasticsearch”, and sent again but failed. the user still can’t receive my e-mail.

Thank you very much! I am looking forward to your reply.

Your screenshot shows that there’s no reply button below the article you consider as answer.
That’s the case for note articles which -of course- do not send a mail to the customer by default.

You can workaround this by using triggers of you simply use the reply button on the initial article to create a mail article. Elasticsearch has nothing to do with this behavior.
