Microsoft authentication problem: "the change you wanted was rejected"

Zammad 6.3.1, on Debian, Microsoft authentation enabled.

When I do the login attempt, I’m redirected to the Microsoft infrastructure, but then zammad shows me an error page with:

422: The change you wanted was rejected.
Validation failed: Email address 'luca@foobar' is already used for another user.

Tried another user and different browsers, same result.
I’ve checked the users, that have been imported from LDAP succesfully and are assigned to the role agent.
Any idea?

Hi!

This errors shows up if (in your case) the LDAP user and the Microsoft user share the same email address.

To solve this I set Automatic account link on initial logon to yes [image] This way if an existing user shares the email address (e.g. from an import and then the system switches to OAuth) it is linked to the existing Zammad account Please verify with your use case if this is what you are looking for in the official documentation here: https://admin-docs.zammad.org/en/latest/settings/security/third-party.html#automatic-account-link-on-initial-logon Best, Skip
